Creating a Custom URL
On the Share page, you can customize your survey link and set the title, description, and thumbnail image that appear in the share preview.
Creating a Custom URL
- Share links are generated in the format
walla.my/a/customPartby default. - You need to enter a URL that follows the naming rules.
How to set it up
Go to Customize Link
On the Share page, navigate to the Customize Link section.
Enter and save the custom URL
Type in the custom URL you want and save it.
Choose a view mode
Select either Grouped or Standard View first and save — the setting is applied immediately without needing to click Publish again.
Custom URL rules
- Must be between 0 and 30 characters
- Cannot include a slash (
/) - Cannot consist solely of a single dot (
.) or two dots (..) - Cannot match the regex

Share Preview Settings
- Below the custom URL, you can set the project title, description, and thumbnail image.
- Changes take effect as soon as you save — no separate publish step is needed.
- If you don't upload a thumbnail image, a default thumbnail reflecting the project title and theme is shown.
Warning
If the title or thumbnail you changed still shows the old image or text in messengers like KakaoTalk or Slack, that's because of the messenger app or browser cache saved during earlier previews. Anyone receiving the link for the first time will see the correctly updated preview, so there's no need to worry.
