Closing a Survey
When you want to end a survey or cap it at a first-come-first-served limit, you can use either of the two methods below.
Closing a Survey Manually
- When you no longer want to accept responses, click the
⚙️button at the top right and turn off the 'Accept responses' toggle. - Turning it off immediately stops accepting responses, and participants who visit the survey will not be able to submit.
Capping Responses for First-Come-First-Served
- In the project editor, click the
⚙️button at the top right to open the settings menu. - Enter the maximum number of responses you want to allow (e.g., 10). Changes take effect immediately — you don't need to click Publish again.
- Once the limit is reached, later participants can no longer submit the survey. For example, if the maximum is 10, the 11th respondent will not be able to participate.
