Managing Projects
You can manage projects in many ways — move, delete, restore, duplicate, or edit their details. Organizing projects to match your workspace structure makes everything easier to run.
Renaming a Project
Changing the title shown in the workspace

In the workspace, click the
...(more) menu on the project card to rename it. -
In the workspace, click the
✏️icon on the project card to rename it. -
Inside the project, click the project name in the top-left corner to rename it.
Changing the title shown when sharing
Go to the project Share page
Open the Share page for the project.
Find the share preview settings
Locate the 'Share preview settings' section.
Enter the title
Type the title you want in the title field, and you're done.
Warning
If you don't enter a title, the default "Walla Form" title will be shown when the project is shared.
Moving a Project
- Projects can only be moved between workspaces within the same team.
- You cannot move a project to a workspace in a different team.
- To move a project, click
...(more) on the project card → 'Move to Workspace', then choose the destination.
Deleting and Restoring a Project
- In the workspace, click
...(more) on the project card.- Move to Archive: Moves the project to the archive, where you can restore it later.
- Delete: Permanently deletes the project.
Warning
Projects moved to the archive can be restored to a workspace, but once you delete a project it cannot be recovered — please proceed carefully.
Duplicating a Project
- Click
...(more) →Duplicateto create a new project with the same structure. - The duplicated project's name is automatically prefixed with (Copy).
- Duplicated projects are unpublished, and items created after publish — such as custom URLs and automations — are not carried over.
Editing Project Info
- Click
Edit Infoon the project card to change the project's name, icon, and color.
Tip
To avoid accidental deletion, we recommend moving a project to the archive first, confirming it, and then deleting it.
Field Templates
Save frequently used question combinations as field templates. They cut down on repetitive work when building surveys and help your team share a consistent question format, so everyone can spin up surveys in the same format quickly.
Closing a Survey
When you want to end a survey or cap it at a first-come-first-served limit, you can use either of the two methods below.
