Grouping Fields

The former multi-field feature has been replaced by field groups, which let you bundle multiple questions together for easier management.

Creating a Field Group

In the project editor, hover below a field and an Add button appears. Click it to add a new question, and a field group is created automatically.

Naming a Group

A group containing two or more fields can be given a group name.
The group name is not shown to respondents — it's only visible in the project editor.

How Groups Work

Groups simply bundle questions together; logic is still applied to each question individually.
Page breaks, which are used in standard view, cannot be used inside a group. You can only separate pages with questions that are outside the group.

Display in Standard and Grouped Views

In standard view, all questions are normally shown on a single page, but by placing page breaks before and after a group, you can split the scroll and visually separate the questions.
In grouped view, questions normally appear one per page, but questions bundled into a group are shown together on the same page.

Field groups help you organize your survey flow more cleanly and make complex question structures easier to scan at a glance.

When you want to emphasize text in your survey or improve its layout, the text editing tools let you apply various styles and formats.

Multiple Choice and Checkbox Fields

Multiple choice fields let respondents pick one or more answers from a set of options.
