Limiting Option Selections by QuotaPro
For multiple-choice, checkbox, and dropdown questions, you can limit how many times each option can be selected. (e.g., first-come-first-served sign-ups, capping specific choices, etc.)
How to Set It Up
Enable the feature
Select the question and turn on 'Limit Responses per Option'.
Enter the maximum count
Click the 'Configure' button and set the maximum number of responses allowed for each option.
Save
Once saved, the number of times an option is selected will not exceed the limit you configured.
Warning
- Deleting or modifying an option will reset its limit configuration.
- Response limits take effect only after the survey is published.
How It Appears When Applied
- If all slots for an option are already filled → the option becomes disabled and cannot be selected.
- If an option fills up while the respondent is answering → when they click
Submit, they'll see an error message: "Something went wrong. Please try again."
Note
The per-option response limit is useful for first-come-first-served sign-ups or seat reservations, helping prevent duplicate responses and keep things fair.
